First Boy George, now model Naomi Campbell is going to do cleaning in New York, media reported Wednesday.

British beauty Naomi Campbell will swap her catwalk outfits for a broom, gloves and safety vest when she begins mopping floors at New York's Sanitation Department on March 19, a court official confirmed.

As is noted, Campbell admitted in a court of law to throwing her mobile phone at her housekeeper Ana Scolavino. The cleaning with other community service workers is part of her punishment.

Singer Boy George attracted a media throng when he swept streets in a court-ordered punishment in August.

Her coffin covered in a pink rhinestone-studded blanket, Anna Nicole Smith was buried Friday as she lived: extravagantly dressed in a designer gown and surrounded by a small cadre of competing admirers.

The reality TV star was mourned at a lavish memorial service, but while her body was laid to rest, the fight over the former Playboy Playmate's baby daughter — and a potential multimillion dollar inheritance — remains very much alive. Her companion Howard K. Stern, her mother Virgie Arthur and her former boyfriend Larry Birkhead are battling for custody of 5-month-old Dannielynn.

He promised a sterling performance in the byelections to the Amritsar Lok Sabha seat in the face of very adverse circumstances following his conviction in a 1989 road-rage case, which had led to his resignation from the same Lok Sabha seat on December 1.

And cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu kept his word by Tuesday by winning the bypolls by a huge margin. The BJP candidate defeated his nearest rival, state Finance Minister Surinder Singla of the Congress, by 77,626 votes.

» Manning enjoys MVP's spoils
Sometime late Sunday night, Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy handed his cell phone to quarterback Peyton Manning.

At the moment, Manning was busy talking to a friend about the Colts’ 29-17 victory over the Bears in Super Bowl XLI. He tried to shake off the coach, but this was one of the few times Dungy was going to make the call.

“He said, ‘You need to take this call,’ ” said Manning, the game’s MVP, at Monday’s news conference. “And I was like, ‘No, I’m on the phone here.’ And he said, ‘No, you need to take this call.’ I hang up [with my friend] and it was the President.”

Life can’t get much better for the Colts, especially Dungy and Manning.

2 days of blackout is not what i expected this winter ..... one storm on thu nite and boom! its pitch dark!
Well, with power grids failing and offices/shops closed .... nuthing much to do on fri the whole day except to search for food and some warm place ... luckily some areas had power, so we had to beat traffic to get some food and gas.
Spent fri nite playing Monopoly in candle-lite .. luckily on sat morning some buildings at work were powered-up, so used them to gud advantage - charging cell fones and getting some coffee and more importantly hot water shower!
Finally, things started to get brighter as the day went along. Went to Kabul Express on sat nite ... decent movie ... a general awareness i thot abt Afghanistan :)
Kudos to the power crew for working hard!

Ash and Bips luk amazingly gud in the entire movie ... but i felt the stunts were overdone and the storyline wasn't that great ... overall it luked like the scenes were pretty disconnected ..... this movie doesn't live up to the expectations.
